The case

For XL Groothandel B.V. we built a custom web shop and a native app, connected to the MegaWin POS system through API integrations. The ordering environment holds more than 900 products, from spirits and wine to soft drinks and food, and every order goes straight to the till.

The challenge

Products, stock, prices and promotions lived in separate systems that had to be updated by hand. The brief: one connected whole, managed centrally, in which orders reach the POS without being retyped.

The approach

A Next.js front end, optimised for speed and a smooth ordering experience on desktop and mobile.
An API integration with MegaWin: orders arrive in the POS automatically, and products, stock, prices and promotions flow back to the web shop and app in real time.
A native app in the App Store, with its own admin panel where the team creates promotional pop-ups themselves.
Push notifications via OneSignal for new promotions, offers and order reminders.
