Kantex Herd is a livestock data platform that brings data from existing sensors, milking robots, feeding and climate systems together in one overview per animal or group. AI helps recognise anomalies early, while the farmer and vet decide what happens. The farmer stays in control of which data is shared with advisers or the vet.

Frequently asked questions about Kantex Herd
Can I use Kantex Herd yet?
Not yet. Kantex Herd is in development and we are building it together with livestock farmers who want to take part as pilot partners. If you have several systems in the barn and would like to help shape how that data comes together, email sales@kantex.nl. We would be glad to visit and see which systems you have.
Do I need to buy new sensors or equipment?
No. Kantex does not supply hardware. Kantex Herd works with data from the sensors, milking robots, feeding and climate systems already on your farm, through the integration options those systems offer. Which data is available differs per system; we map that out in advance.
Does Kantex Herd make a diagnosis?
No. Kantex Herd shows where data deviates from what is normal for an animal or group, with an explanation of why something stands out. It does not diagnose and gives no treatment advice. What an alert means and what you do about it is your decision, together with your vet if needed.
Who owns the data?
Your farm’s data remains yours. You decide whether and with whom you share it, such as your vet or adviser, and which part they may see. You can withdraw that access at any time. Kantex does not use your data for other purposes without your explicit consent.
